RBS Point of Presence - Overview

The brief was to create an interactively engaging iPad app that could be placed in the RBS branches across the UK, designed and built from the ground up to be driven by content hosted, owned and regularly updated by the client.


SapientNitro and DigitalOrigins worked closely with The Royal Bank of Scotland to create what ended up being an app that could take the end user through choosing the perfect bank account account, selecting the best value mortgage, even downloading available RBS apps and savings advice direct to their handset.


Wrapped in a beautifully animated tactile interface, and driven by an authenticated and encrypted RESTful web service, the whole package ended up a visual treat for the end user, an immense technical achievement for the team, and a delight to the customer.
